Sardine

Build environment

Building the Sardine

The Sardine is built inside scratchbox by a build robot driven by a packages file listing the latest tags for the HAF components. New packages are uploaded to the repository as they are built.

Herring, the current stabilization distro, is built similarly, based on its own packages file.

Sardine experimental is not a full distro. It's a place to upload packages that might be useful for the development but are not yet ready to go into sardine. There's a build robot for sardine experimental too. It is driven by its own packages file.

TODO: Document the build system or even better, get a better one ;-)

Follow up on the build status

If you want to see the overall build status, follow the package status link to see the outcome of the latest build for each package.

You can also check the outcome of the latest builds the robot has done, regardless of package. You can find them in chronological order in the build history.

If you want to know what's in the latest releases follow the RSS feed link. There's a post for every package release, with its change log.
